Wildlife on our land

Wildlife is at the forefront of our business and we encourage bio diversity as much as we can whether growing our produce naturally without  the use of chemicals, plastic and peat or creating habitats amongst our growing spaces, for example our willow coppice. We need pollinators to fertilise the fruit and flowers so we are able to collect seed and are very happy to see the hungry predator species like ladybird larvae and hover fly larvae munching on the excess greenfly. 

Our Willow coppice is home to so many insects and mammals from parasitic wasps, beetles, moths, harvest mice, hedgehogs, bird species including the willow warbler, fox and deer.
